Hello there - I thought this would be the easiest way to let people know what I've been up to so far.
Well.. not a lot really, because I've only been here for less than 24 hours ;)
Got here last night around 7, then got to the flat, unpacked everything, chatted a bit, had some dinner and then watched Friends in German and went to sleep.
It's so cold here already, I can't believe it. I went for a wander today, to Alexanderplatz to some huuuuge shopping centre for a browse - huge h&m made my morning! I swear the fashions here get worse every time I come here! There's everything from red trousers to mullets to patent shoes, which everyone here seems to wear! And the people are either really stylish or have no sense at all.. I haven't really seen anyone in between.
Tomorrow night is football on, so I think I'm meeting new people then. And in the day, I plan to go to the Brandenburg Gate and take some pics, apparently there's things going on for the Unification Day.
I don't start work until Monday at 11, so I have lots of free time.. and I'm in the flat alone from Thursday til Monday.. so that should be strange but nevermind! Gives me time to get my bearings etc.
